Morgan Park Academy is seeking a full time, Educational Technology Specialist.
Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Act as an inspirational leader for 21st century education and technology integration.
- Stay current on research regarding teaching, learning and assessment with technology.
- Overseeing and developing the Pre-K through 12th technology, computer science, and STEAM curriculum to support MPA’s overall mission.
- Offering administrators, faculty members and students professional development via workshops and one-to-one training.
- Working with faculty members and students to effectively, seamlessly and appropriately integrate technology throughout the school.
- Assisting with the maintenance and development of MPA’s existing educational technology initiatives and tools.
- Educating students and parents about the evolving uses of technology.
- Oversee the iPad initiatives in the Upper School and iPad and laptop carts. Provide faculty and student training to en-sure safe/secure/effective use of technology.
The Educational Technology Specialist reports to the Assistant Head of School and is a 12-month position.

Qualifications:
Master’s degree in educational technology or related field preferred
3 -5 years of K-12 school experience preferred.

- Comfortable working with a variety of technology and maker tools: PC’s, iPads, 3-d printers, interactive whiteboards, etc.
- Good facility with Windows and Apple OS
Other Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of Windows File Server, Exchange Server, Active Directory and SQL Server a plus
- Experience with minor repairs of hardware and printers a plus
