We are looking for a dynamic, passionate individual who would be responsible for the development of the strategic plan with regard to IT as a subject across the Junior and Senior Schools. The focus will be on coding rather than Microsoft Office skills. We are looking for a role model for our girls to inspire them for exciting opportunities in the world of Technology.

  • Keen interest in continuous research and sharing of the latest trends in Educational technology with regards to coding as the new literacy.
  • Able to run Staff development workshops to encourage use of software that can enhance teaching and learning & work individually with staff to plan lessons. Focusing on how coding could be taught across the curriculum.
  • Proven track record in developing coding, 3D printing and Maker Spaces (especially in the Primary School) – upskilling the staff, offering EC workshops and exposing the girls to these experiences, this will be the main focus of the job.
  • Communication of best practice – internally and externally, this will be integral to the role.
  • Create workshops for students to keep them up to date with the latest technology being used in the classroom – particularly focusing on coding and robotics.
  • Able to run Parent workshops – e.g. IT trends etc. as the need arises (coffee morning ideas)
  • Teach G10-12 IT as an IEB subject (rolled out over next 3 years)
