The ideal candidate will:

  • Manage the provision of IT services for all staff and pupils
  • Supervise the IT technical support administrator
  • Manage financial aspects of the IT Department, including budgeting and purchasing of hardware and software
  • Negotiate and administer supplier contracts and service agreements
  • Maintain registers of all IT assets
  • Manage the implementation and integration of the school admin system – ADAM, and support users of ADAM
  • Manage the implementation and integration of the school Moodle platform, and support users of Moodle
  • Manage the implementation and integration of iPads, including the purchasing of apps and the setup of the iPads, and support all iPad users
  • Provide support for other software including but not limited to Microsoft Office
  • Provide staff development where necessary
  • Be involved in teaching in the IT and Robotech programmes
  • Keep current with the latest technologies and determine what new technology solutions and implementations will meet academic and business requirements

The successful candidate will show good problem-solving skills, be highly organised and able to understand the needs of the school, for both staff and pupils. We intend to employ a professional with good communication and interpersonal skills, who is innovative and willing to embrace and lead change, while still paying close attention to detail.
