The Tech Support Process Coordinator is a member of IT Department of The Governor’s Academy. This position constitutes the first point of contact for support requests, and is responsible for general technical support and distribution of the software applications and interfaces that are used at the Academy, including but not limited to: Google Apps for Education, Microsoft Windows (XP/7/8/10, Server 2003/2008/2013), Mac OS X and Server, Veracross, Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge and Financial Edge, Microsoft Office, SQL Server, and Extreme Networks NAC/OneView/IdentiFi. More important than any single element of software competency, however, is an ability to build relationships and communicate effectively with a wide variety of constituencies.

Additionally, this person handles projects related to databases and web portals, both internal and external. The Tech Support Process Coordinator coordinates the online enrollment and re-enrollment process, working collegially with other departments as needed. These projects, being external in nature, must be carefully coordinated for detail and correctness, as well as clarity of interface and consistency of messaging and visual identity.
