PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware. Support may include answering questions, troubleshooting problems, and instructing users about software or hardware functionality.
  • Respond to user queries within help desk system, by e-mail, phone, or walk-in.
  • Maintain daily performance of computer systems.
  • Install, modify, and repair computer hardware and software.
  • Ability to diagnose malfunctions and to run diagnostic programs to resolve problems.
  • Resolve technical problems with Local Area Networks (LAN), Wide Area Networks (WAN), telephony, and other systems.
  • Install computer peripherals for users.
  • Working knowledge of Active Directory.
  • Ability to image and deploy new PCs, tablets, and mobile devices.
  • Familiarity with interactive whiteboards, document cameras, projection systems, scanners, printers, copiers, and other locally attached equipment.
  • Document internal procedures.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous Helpdesk in a PreK-12 school environment preferred
  • CompTIA A+ certification desirable
  • Experience with Citrix is a plus
  • French and/or Spanish language proficiency a plus
