Education/experience

Bachelor’s degree highly desired with relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience .

Job Summary
  • Provide technical support to university clients regarding university computer systems and software.
  • Provide telephone, on-site, and walk in support to resolve questions related to hardware, software, network and connectivity issues for faculty, staff and students.
Required Qualifications
  • Extensive knowledge of computer hardware and software including: Windows, MS Office, web browsers, Adobe applications, networked computing environments, TCP/IP, and e-mail.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service.
  • Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
  • Proven ability to use a wide variety of diagnostic tools to identify, analyze, and resolve hardware, software, and network connectivity problems.
  • Ability to lift/move 50 pounds.
Preferred Qualifications

Experience supporting Mac OS X and mobile devices.
