St George’s Preparatory and Pre-Primary School, which together with St George’s College makes the St George’s Schools family, is an independent, co-educational school situated in Park Drive, Port Elizabeth, South Africa. A rare opportunity exists for the ideal candidate to join our staff team as:

ICT – Teacher/ Coordinator

St George’s Preparatory wishes to appoint an innovative, forward thinking ICT Teacher/ Coordinator. The position is available from January 2017.

Key Responsibilities:

Teach ICT  (Knowledge Network™ curriculum from Grade 1 to 7)
Pencilbox School Administration experience
Manage the schools’ Windows-based network
Liaise with technical support team and service providers
Co-ordinator of iPad and Google Apps for Education projects
Strategic planning for schools’ IT needs
Develop and manage the annual IT budget
Purchasing of equipment
Keep informed of current trends in the use of technology in prep school education
Key Attributes:

Previous Smart board experience
Strong organisational and planning skills
Ability to multitask and work under pressure
Good communication skills
Team player
Previous IT related experience
Sound Financial acumen
