Friends Community school, a Quaker K-8 independent school in the College Park area, seeks a full-time Information Technology Coordinator for the 2018-19 school year. The successful applicant will provide day-to-day support and maintenance of the school’s IT infrastructure for students, faculty, and staff.

 

Applicants should have a BS in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or similar degree or experience; strong understanding of networking concepts; experience in server administration; knowledge of trends in educational technology; and a commitment to diversity and inclusion. The position will provide basic network support and maintenance of computer systems and equipment; maintain up-to-date inventory and information; research the acquisition of new software; provide professional development for teachers and staff; and promote the responsible use of technology for all users in the school.
