JOB SUMMARY

Owensboro Community and Technical College is hiring a full-time Information Technology Coordinator to provide IT support to faculty and staff;  analyze complex end-user problems; make recommendations; and implement solutions.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The duties / responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Provides IT support to faculty and staff, analyzing complex end-user problems, making recommendations, and implementing solutions.

  • Monitors server performance and responds to malfunctions.

  • Provides technical support for and assists in content editing of college websites.

  • Administers and monitors campus network hardware and performance.

  • Assists IT personnel with all aspects of technology and its applications.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENT

Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or a related field and three years related experience or the equivalent combination of education and experience.

 

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

Computer hardware and software troubleshooting experience preferred.

Must have the ability to work with a diverse population.
