UTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Duties may include, but are not limited to, the following:

1. Supervise and coordinate the operation of the school site technology assistants and other informational technology areas.

2. Assist in developing District technology programs.

3. Interpret legislation and ensure compliance in a variety of areas related to the technology department.

4. Provide technical training and assistance to staff for the implementation of technology within the classroom.

5. Conduct regular meetings with school site and department representatives to ensure service levels and customer satisfaction.

6. Communicate with District personnel and collaborate with outside agencies to develop technology partnerships.

7. Organize, monitor and participate in staff professional development and assure staff needs are met and problems are resolved with technology department.

8. Organize technology support groups for school sites and determine school site technology needs.

9. Supervise the preparation of technology reports and analytical studies.

10. Develop programs and processes for improving the efficiency of technology operations.

11. Coordinates and organize other school site District visits to access technology resources.

12. Attends professional development related to technology.

13. Provides school site demonstrations of technology programs.

14. Perform related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or equivalent and some college

• Knowledge of English grammar, spelling, and punctuation

• Bilingual-biliterate English/Spanish skills required

• Prior experience working with students in a school setting is required

• Possess at least 5 years of technology experience. Possess knowledge of recent technology instructional programs, such as: S.T.E.A.M.

• Any combination of A+ certification and Microsoft certification required
