JOB SUMMARY

Provide end user hardware and software installation, troubleshooting, and support services to a population of approximately 1000 (including Faculty, Students, and Staff) in reference to their needs associated with iPad and Mac software and hardware; Windows and Mac operating systems; Microsoft Office Suite; Google Applications; Network and Connectivity; Projectors; Printers, Smart Boards, etc.

RESPONSIBILITIES

To perform this job successfully, the selected individual must be able to perform each of these responsibilities:

· Respond to helpdesk inquiries to resolve end user requests related to, but not limited to, issues relating to the above job summary:

o Installation, troubleshooting, repair, replacement, and support of all hardware and software for all end users

· Troubleshoot iPad issues including working with Apple Management System to deploy Applications for students, etc.

· Prepare and image computers (desktops laptops, iPads, etc.) for distribution at the beginning of each school year.

· Research and stay abreast of technical, hardware, and software issues to identify trends for early detection and repair.

QUALIFICATIONS

Possess 1-2 years of relevant, hands-on technical experience with the above listed responsibilities, and:

· Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a technical discipline

· Work experience within a helpdesk environment

· Knowledge and experience working with Windows and Mac Operating Systems

· General computer networking knowledge and familiarity

· Ability to adapt to and learn new technologies

· Excellent user and technical skills with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Applications

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· English language proficiency required

· French language proficiency helpful
