The Innovation Space Coordinator candidate would be responsible for:
- Facilitating and supervising student-driven innovation projects in our 2800 square foot, state-of-the-art design facility
- Supporting and collaborating with elementary and middle school faculty regarding all innovation curricular initiatives and evolving design thinking programming
- Coordinating First Lego League (FLL) Robotics program including on-site regional competition
- Leading efforts to advance the implementation of innovation and design thinking into curriculum
- Supporting technology integration and regularly partnering with the I.T. Department
This position requires collegiality and an ability to be flexible as this program continues to evolve. The candidate must maintain a connective, safe environment for students in order to build positive rapport with them as an approachable, knowledgeable educator. A strong background in science, technology, and robotics is preferred and experiences with design thinking and/or STEM+ curriculum or activities would be beneficial. This is a full-time position with benefits.
