Title: Instructional Technology Coordinator
Description: The Instructional Technology Coordinator will assist in the development of short and long term plans for the integration of technology into the curriculum. This individual will also coordinate and deliver the technology staff development and training program. The Instructional Technology Coordinator will serve all teachers from Pre School through Upper School.
Requirements: Requirements:
• Experience in facilitating and providing instruction to a small group of teachers in the classroom.
• Evaluate and provide recommendations regarding software applications and instructional technologies.
• Provide 1st level technical support to users.
Minimum Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree in Educational Technology or Computer Science.
• Experience in the education industry and strong background in educational technology preferred.
• Working knowledge of educational curriculum and the alignment of technology with the schools strategic plan.
• Ability to proactively develop, plan and deliver technology training to faculty and staff.
• Experience with both Apple and PC products, operating systems and applications.

Other Requirements:
• Experience working in a IB School preferable.
• Must possess complete fluency in English, fluency in Spanish is not required but preferred.
• At least two (2) years of experience in the educational field.
• Excellent writing & public speaking skills.
• Must possess the ability to meet deadlines.
• Must possess strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
• Must become familiar with the School's goals, objectives, and mission.
• Participates willingly in conferences, committee, department and staff meetings, and when possible, in school sponsored activities specific to your area of expertise or as needed.
• Complies with all staff policies as stated in Employee Handbook.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the Director of Technology.
