DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist in the management and maintenance of technology resources, including hardware, software, and networks, to ensure they are operating efficiently.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to students and staff, addressing issues related to computers, tablets, printers, software applications, and other technology tools.
  • Collaborate with teachers to integrate technology effectively into lesson plans and classroom activities, promoting innovative and interactive learning experiences.
  • Conduct training sessions and workshops for teachers and students to enhance their digital literacy skills and proficiency in using educational technology tools.
  • Stay updated on emerging trends and advancements in educational technology, evaluating their potential application in the school environment.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to Raven Wolf staff, addressing issues related to MySchoolBucks, and other technology tools.
  • Setup and deliver Chromebooks to students, recover devices at the end of the year.
  • Manage and reassign help desk tickets in a timely manner.
  • Support with creation and maintenance of student Technology Accounts.
  • Support preparation and administration of testing and assessments.

Learning Support:

  • Manage the middle school tutoring center two days a week, providing a supportive and conducive environment for students to engage in academic
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, tutoring sessions, and academic progress, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with school policies and state reporting.
  • Develop and implement strategies to motivate students to attend academic recovery sessions regularly and participate actively in academic activities.
  • Assist attendance recovery coordinator by offering one-on-one or group tutoring sessions to students who require additional support in specific subjects or areas of study after school.
  • Monitor student progress and provide feedback to the attendance recovery coordinator regarding attendance recovery efforts and academic performance during study hall sessions.
  • Collaborate with teachers to identify students who would benefit from additional support and tailor tutoring sessions to meet their individual learning needs.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, LICENSURE

  • Any combination equivalent to completion of high school-level education or equivalent required
  • Prior experience working in a school setting, preferably in a role involving technology support and/or student tutoring.
  • Proficiency in using educational technology tools and software applications, such as learning management systems, interactive whiteboards, and educational software.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with students, teachers, parents/guardians, and other stakeholders.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting student learning and academic success.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing needs and priorities within a dynamic school environment.
  • Knowledge of best practices in educational technology integration and student support services.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism when dealing with sensitive student information.

These requirements must be met prior to beginning employment and will be requested upon job offer acceptance.

  • Fingerprint and Background clearance
  • Valid Tuberculosis clearance and every four years thereafter
  • CPR/First Aid Certification within 45 days of employment and every two years thereafter
  • Evidence of Automobile Insurance and valid California Driver's License
