The Catholic High School of Baltimore, a Franciscan-sponsored secondary school, is seeking a dynamic candidate for an Educational Technology Specialist or an Instructional Technology Specialist.

Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Assisting with the development of a technology plan

  • Creating and implementing technology courses for students

  • Teaching student technology courses

  • Assisting teachers with integrating technology in the classroom in all curriculum areas

  • Supporting faculty and staff in the various applications that are used

To be considered, the candidate should:

  • Have a masters’ degree or at least 30 graduate credits

  • Have demonstrated knowledge of improving instruction and office management through technology

  • Have a working knowledge of maintaining hardware and software

  • Be able to integrate technology education into curriculum and staff development

​​​​​​​The candidate should also have ideas about moving the school forward in terms of classroom technology. They should be familiar with various types of classroom technology – iPads, Chrome devices, laptops, etc. This person should also have the skills for instruction on both Mac and PC devices and operating systems. They should be familiar with cyber safety and also troubleshooting/maintaining computer hardware and software.
