Los Encinos School, a K-6 school serving 168 students in Encino, is looking for an experienced, talented, and highly professional Information Technology Coordinator.

This is a full-time, 12-month position with responsibilities that can vary greatly throughout the academic year and will occasionally necessitate evening or weekend commitments. We value candidates who can patiently support teachers and staff, who can calmly participate in the varied demands of a small, but busy school and who have the flexibility to work independently and as a member of a team.

• Primary Responsibilities include the following:
• Provide first-level technical support for all software and hardware related problems for the campus community.
• Assist teachers with FAWeb for their grading and attendance needs.
• Perform updates and general preventative maintenance on campus computers and iPads.
• Monitor and maintain school iPad carts and laptop carts.
• Assist with hard drive imaging, inventory, and deployment of new laptops and desktops.
• Test, implement, install, configure, troubleshoot and repair laptop computers, desktop computers, iPads, digital projectors, SMART boards, and classroom sound systems.
• Install, implement, troubleshoot, and maintain network printers.
• Manage printer toner inventory and replacement.
• Install, upgrade, test and troubleshoot software applications and mobile apps.
• Provide technical and basic audio-visual support for some evening and weekend events.
• Provide technical and audio-visual support for on-campus and occasional off-campus meetings.
• Assist with the teaching of individual and group workshops for faculty and staff on a variety of technology subjects.
• Respond to and work on special projects as needed or requested.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree

Minimum experience preferred:
• 5+ years’ experience troubleshooting and using Macs and PCs
• Knowledge of basic networking
• Strong technology literacy
• Experience working with technology in an academic environment
• Familiarity and experience with Active Directory, IP Networks, and DHCP
• Experience troubleshooting printers
• Basic knowledge of wireless networking implementation, configuration, and security

• Good written and oral communication
• Ability to explain technical jargon to general audiences and to be patient with new technology learners
• Ability to work independently and as a team
• Available for occasional night and weekend work
