Job Duties:

  • Provides user support for faculty, staff, and students

  • Answers inquiries via telephone, e-mail, and walk-in traffic

  • Performs light maintenance and installation of networked and local printers

  • Performs PC, Chromebook, and Mac desktop/laptop/tablet troubleshooting and repair

  • Responds to classroom technology support requests

  • Assists faculty and staff with smartphone/mobile device setup and troubleshooting

  • Performs installation and troubleshooting of VoIP devices

  • Installs and configures workstations and peripheral devices

  • Installs and configures digital signs

  • Assists faculty and staff with audio-visual systems setup for school events and presentations

  • Manages building access control system

  • Manages school bell system

  • Administration of the security camera system

  • Maintains detailed inventory of technology assets

  • Escalates Level 2/3 issues to 3rd party IT provider

  • Other duties assigned

Requirements:

  • Associate degree or higher in computer science or related field and 3 years of experience working in a technical support or customer service role. A combination of related education and experience may be considered.

  • Experience supporting K-12 schools highly preferred

  • Experience supporting a multi-user network

  • Proficiency in most recent version of Microsoft Windows, ChromeOS, IOS, and Mac OS operating systems

  • Familiar with administering Office 365 and G-Suite for Education (Google Classroom)

  • Familiar with using and supporting audio/visual equipment

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, team orientation, and ability to work in a dynamic and diverse work environment

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to work with a wide range of computer users

  • Knowledge of and/or willingness to learn the basic teachings of the Catholic Church

  • Ability to lift up to fifty pounds

Salary Range:

  • Expected pay range is $40,000 - $65,000. Actual hiring range may vary based on qualifications and experience.
