CHARACTERISTICS

The successful candidate will possess a joyful disposition, exceptional organization and communication skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast paced preschool environment.  The position requires strong interpersonal skills and the ability to connect with and support multiple and diverse constituents, including parents, faculty and staff, and the director.  The candidate must be technically savvy, have accurate writing and meticulous editing skills, and an eye for detail.

ESSENTIAL ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

Essential and other important responsibilities and duties may include but are not limited to the following:

  • Office Management
    • Assists Admissions Process (collects applications, forms, etc)
    • Maintains Student Files
    • Create Internal & External Documents
    • Front Desk Duties (Answering Phone, Emails, etc)
    • Office Supplies
    • Next Schools Support
    • Manage Parent/Staff Keycard System
  • Information & Technology
    • Maintains Admissions Databases (Snowman DaySchool & Active Network)
    • Develops recommendation for technology plans & improvements.
    • Provides staff support & training on technology.
    • Maintains all data systems for the school (excluding finance & financial aid)
    • Maintains accurate property log of all technology devices owned by CES
  • Communications
    • Draft & Edit Parent & Staff Communications
    • Weekly Newsletter
    • Website Management & Development
    • Social Media Management
    • Manage Emergency Notification System
  • General Support
    • Provides General Support for:
      • Director & Assistant Director
      • Business Manager
      • Board of Directors & PTA
      • Faculty & Staff
    • Other Duties
      • Performs other related duties & responsibilities as assigned.
      • Participates in various school and board committees as required.

SUPERVISION

Receives immediate supervision from Business Manager and/or Executive Director.
