The French American International School seeks an I.T. Manager who is responsible for the overall operation, maintenance, and security of the campus data network, servers and systems. The IT Manager works in close partnership with the Director of Educational Technology in planning and implementing technology that supports learning and day-to-day operations at FAIS.

 

Essential Responsibilities

●Administer Active Directory & G Suite domains

●Manage physical and virtual servers (file, print, web, email and database)

●Provide escalated support for desktops, chromebooks, printers, and other technology as needed

●Maintain hardware inventory database & helpdesk ticketing system

●Manage network infrastructure (switches, routers, wireless controllers)

●Maintain and support telephone, voicemail and AV systems

●Develop and maintain an effective backup, network security and disaster recovery plan

●Strategic planning for budget & technology

●Purchase hardware & software

●Manage & supervise technical support staff

 

Minimum Requirements:

●Bachelor's degree in a related field

●Three years related experience in a Microsoft environment

●Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, GPO & System Center Configuration Manager experience

●Network design, implementation, and troubleshooting skills

●Experience developing/testing enterprise backup and disaster recovery plans

●Experience managing VMware, SQL Server, G Suite (Google apps and chromebooks)

●Ability to work in tight spaces, lift and carry up to 40 lbs, sufficient mobility to climb stairs, push a cart, and travel to classrooms across a spread out campus

 

Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience with Blackbaud Raiser's Edge, Education Edge and Financial Edge; ability to communicate in French.
