Job Duties 

The role of Project Manager, Clinical Information Technology is a key position that will work Vidant Health, and ECUP Departments on the further development of the information technology infrastructure (I.T.) of ECU Physicians. The IT Project Analyst/Manager will coordinate IT and Electronic Health Record (EHR) related quality program implementation and support activities for ECU Physicians by working in concert with Vidant Health Information Systems (IS), ECU Information Technology and Computing Services (ITCS), and designated 3rd party vendors to deliver the intended results. The position will be responsible for managing projects, both large and small, controlling scope, cost and schedule which includes developing scope documents, developing project plans, coordinating resources, tracking budget, and administering close out activities using industry project management best practices. The position will work with Materials Management to develop, review and obtain approval for contracts related to information systems technology and software.

Minimum Education/Experience 

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or closely related degree from an appropriately accredited institution; or a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management or closely related degree from an appropriately accredited institution and one year of experience in IT project management or technical project management related work.
