Job Description

The Office of Information Technology (OIT) is seeking an IT Project Coordinator for the IT Project Management Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the operational needs of the Project Management team, coordinating IT projects, and providing assistance to the project managers and business analysts on the team. The IT Project Coordinator will also oversee the project intake process and review project requests to ensure they are complete. This is an introductory position for those who wish to pursue a career in project management or business analysis.

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Assists OIT resource managers with setup and maintenance and training on the project management tools

  • Manages the project intake process and processes initial communication with project requestors and sponsors

  • Performs research and analysis in support of projects and processes

  • Assists in the development of recommendations to solve problems and issues related to project requests

  • Coordinates IT projects. Project coordination tasks include, but are not limited to: creating project charters, running status meetings, creating status reports, coordinating tasks to completion, facilitating project closure

  • Provides project and analysis support to IT projects and processes

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • 1+ years of professional experience in IT Project Management, Business Analysis or related field

  • Basic understanding of fundamental concepts, practices and procedures and the ability to apply in varied situations

Pay Rate

$45,000 to $52,000 depending on candidate’s experience and qualification. Employees also enjoy a generous benefits package including health benefits, paid time off, and education benefits for employees and qualified dependents.
