Summary

The IT Project Management Director is responsible for the development, implementation and timely delivery of university-wide Information Technology project initiatives.   

The Director works directly with stakeholders to develop comprehensive project business requirements (scope of work), collaborates with the IT Business Relationship Manager to coordinate project implementation schedules, and consults with the University Investment Council on establishing funding priorities for approved projects.  

The Director also supervises, manages and oversees the entire IT project management team, providing direction, guidance and support as needed to ensure highly efficient delivery of services to the university community.

  • Demonstrated working knowledge of Agile development practices.

 

Required Education and/or Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field and five years' senior level project management experience to include strategic planning experience

  • Project Manager Certification (PMP/APMP/Prince2/P30)

 

Preferred Qualifications
  • Team Foundation Server (TFS) experience

  • Experience in higher education

  • Microsoft Project Online experience

  • Experience in Demand Management

 

Salary Ranges
  • Minimum salary(USD $):  65000

  • Maximum salary(USD $):  110600

Pay decisions are based on education, experience, skills and budget. The lower third of the range typically applies to less experienced candidates; the middle third for more experienced; and the upper range for those with exceptional qualifications and sustained performance.
