The Undergraduate Admissions Office (UAO) is looking for an enthusiastic, highly motivated and creative individual to become an integral member of UAO as an IT Project Manager. Primary responsibilities include setting project strategy, coordinating project efforts to meet requirements and communicating deadlines through strong schedule and resource management, and reporting project status, risks, etc. to all stakeholders. Duties include leading the creation of project definitions, budgets, work breakdowns, rough order estimates, project plans, communication plans and project schedules. This job will be filled as a level 2, or level 3, depending upon the successful candidate's competencies, education, and experience. Typically requires an Associate's degree or higher plus two years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience for a level 2. Additional experience and/or education and competencies are required for higher level jobs. PMP certification from PMI, or PRINCE2 certification and experience with project management software is highly preferred. Competencies critical to success include: a proven ability to lead cross-functional project teams, creatively manage competing priorities, plan and meet deadlines; demonstrate effective interpersonal and mentoring skills; ability to thrive in a team environment; and a commitment to life-long learning.
