IT Supervisor

Serve as assistant operations manager in a large, diversified and complex multi-CPU environment. Also serve as a shift supervisor with a seven day a week responsibility for coordinating machine resources with all areas including with Production Control’s scheduled needs. All training and evaluation of personnel on the various systems and subsystems and diagnostic problem determinations. Substitutes for Computer Operations Manager as required.

Associates degree and 3 years experience in computer operations or a related data processing field; or equivalency.

A detailed knowledge of large mainframe, mid range and micro-computers coupled with a large data communications network. Extensive supervisory experience required. Extensive knowledge to develop and implement policies and procedures and evaluate their effectiveness. Knowledge of production schedules and IT uses.
