George School, a Quaker boarding/day grades 9-12 college preparatory school located in Newtown, Bucks County, PA has an opening for an IT Support Analyst (level 1) and Event Technology Coordinator.

JOB SUMMARY:
The IT Support Analyst and Event Technology Coordinator provides installation, maintenance, and day-to-day support for users of George School’s information technology and audio visual hardware, software, network and related systems and services. This position helps track and ensure campus events and meetings that require the use of IT and audio visual technology are supported appropriately. This position works with the ITS team to support end users through training and documentation.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

Required:
• Bachelor's degree and some IT service experience.
• Excellent analytical, organizational and communication skills and the ability to work independently on multiple assignments and to work collaboratively within a team.
• Technical knowledge of modern Microsoft Windows desktop and server operating systems.
• Technical knowledge of modern Apple OSX desktop and server operating systems.
• Technical knowledge of at least one modern mobile device operating systems such as Apple ios or Android.
• Technical knowledge of client and server services in a Microsoft Windows domain including: Active Directory, Group Policy, File Services, and Print Services.
• Technical knowledge of network technologies including DHCP, TCP/IP, wireless network, and basic switching and routing concepts.
• Technical knowledge of setting up and maintaining network workgroup printers and projectors.
• Technical knowledge of PowerShell or other task automation and configuration management scripting languages.
• Ability to pick up and move heavy equipment.

Preferred:
• An IT professional certification, such as MCDST, ITIL, A+, or equivalent.
• Familiarity with portable PA sound systems.
• Technical knowledge of the processes and systems required in the mass deployment of desktops/laptops using industry standard tools.
• Knowledge of a programming language.
• Experience using or supporting smart devices, web 2.0 tools, and ERP database applications.
• Familiarity with ITIL or other IT service standards.
