Montrose School is seeking a proficient, energetic and adaptable IT Support Specialist for the 2020-2021 school year. The IT Support Specialist will be responsible for solving computer issues, both hardware and software, at Montrose School necessary to provide a safe, reliable and efficient environment to support teaching and learning. Primary responsibilities include:

  • Support teachers and students in daily use of laptops, chromebooks, webcams, and classroom audio/visual equipment

  • Support academic applications including but not limited to Google, Chrome, Canvas LMS, Adobe, AP Language testing

  • Work with teachers and administrators to understand technical roadblocks

  • Work with Academic Technology Specialist to refurbish and refine existing hardware

  • Work with outside vendors related to technology needs

Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree; experience with school-based technology a plus. Ability to resolve issues as needed in a timely fashion, and ability to work collaboratively with faculty, staff and students a must. This is a part-time job.
