IT Technician

The IT Technician position is a full-time position at Stanford Lake College and the successful candidate will report to the Headmaster and IT Manager.

Assisting students and teachers with technology-related problems

Assessing possible problem areas in the IT Infrastructure

Aiding in desktop support when needed

Troubleshooting hardware faults within a network

Providing software support for Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office environment

Installing and configuring appropriate software
-
Performing basic user related tasks on Microsoft servers

Adhering to procedures in place
-
Reporting IT related problems to the IT Manager

Must have good knowledge of Windows 7 and Windows 10 desktop environments

Must have good knowledge of wired and wireless networks
-
Must have basic knowledge of Windows Server 2012

Must be able to reinstall a workstation
-
Must have good troubleshooting skills

Must have good interpersonal skills

Experience with Apple systems and devices will be advantageous
