St Andrew’s School for Girls seeks to appoint an innovative, suitably qualified, creative IT Co-ordinator, willing to work in a team and who has an enthusiasm for use of technology in teaching methodology. Minimum requirements for the position are:

Ability to teach IT skills to Grade 0-7 pupils.
Knowledge of running and maintaining networks in a school environment.
A formal networking qualification would be an advantage.
Keenness and a capacity to be strongly committed to the integration of IT into the classroom, including the use of iPads.
Strong verbal, written communication skills and administrative abilities.
Strong people skills and the ability to work in a school environment.
Knowledge of ICDL and Ed-Admin is an advantage.
Be willing to embrace rapid changes in education and manage pressure.
The duties required include, but are not limited to:

To co-ordinate and promote efficient and effective use of ICT within the Junior School.
The management of all Junior School owned hardware and software resources (computers and their peripherals and software)
Management of annually allocated budgets assigned for purposes of equipment and software upgrade, replacement and maintenance.
To stay abreast of IT technology and be able to provide training courses to staff.
To work with the Management Team to develop a long term ICT strategy for the school.
Oversee and run termly reports for Grade 0-7.
To participate in the broader life of the school.
