Laptop & Helpdesk Coordinator

St. Andrew's College, an independent boys' school with 750+ convertible tablets on a wireless network, requires applications for a full-time position in our Helpdesk. The successful applicant will have at least 3 years’ experience in a Helpdesk position and be an IT diploma graduate from an accredited college. Preference will be given to candidates with strong interpersonal skills, demonstrated ability to work independently, and resourceful trouble shooting and repair skills. This is a position of responsibility managing one full-time technician and a coop student and will report directly to the Director of IT.

Regular hours are from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m

Essential Expertise:

Windows 10 installation, upgrades; spreadsheet data management; malware removal; laptop repairs; computer trouble shooting; laptop imaging; wireless trouble-shooting. 

Other Valuable Expertise:

MS Onenote usage; printing support; wireless network setup; web site maintenance; media arts creation; video conferencing and digital presence support. 

The successful candidates' primary responsibilities will involve working in the school's Helpdesk interfacing with users from our student body, faculty, and staff and assisting them in the trouble shooting and repair of their laptop hardware and software, swapping batteries, and removing malware.
