Connelly School of the Holy Child seeks a Librarian / Information Literacy & Technology Specialist for grades 6 - 12. The ideal candidate should have a clear vision of 21st century education and the role that information literacy and technology can play in that vision. Experience and an advanced degree in library science is preferred.

Responsibilities of this position include:

Working to integrate the use of technology within the practice of teaching and learning.
Inspiring a life-long interest in reading for personal growth, fulfillment, and learning.
Developing and maintain a collection of materials in various formats to meet the needs of the community.
Developing events and activities within the library that further the school’s goals and mission.
Managing physical, human and financial resources as related to the library program.
Developing and map a scope and sequence for technological and information skills.
Assisting with professional development in the areas of information literacy, technology integration, and research for faculty in groups and individually.
Providing leadership in the implementation of any new technology or research initiatives.
Leading and participating in the ongoing philosophical and strategic conversations. regarding technology integration as a member of the school’s Technology Committee
Performing other duties as assigned by the Head of School.
Supporting the school and its leadership.
