The TriCollege Libraries Consortium (comprised of Bryn Mawr, Haverford, and Swarthmore Colleges) is excited to announce a unique opportunity to help shape a newly reorganized team of professionals working at the intersection of technology and libraries. The Library Technology Services Manager serves as a member of the TriCollege Libraries Systems Team, based out of Bryn Mawr College. The position is responsible for continuous enhancement of the tools, interfaces, and workflows that allow library staff to work effectively and that enable scholars to discover and use the Libraries’ rich collections. This position combines excellence in technical development with leadership in bringing together the colleagues who define priorities for the TriCo library technology environment and who help to realize TriCo Libraries technology goals. This position supervises the TriCo Digital Library Developer and works collaboratively with that colleague to support, develop, integrate, and enhance our core library services platform, digital asset management and preservation environment, discovery interfaces, and related tools and practices. 
 

This position is situated within the Library & Information Technology Services department of Bryn Mawr College and serves as a core member of the TriCollege Libraries Consortium, led by the library directors of the three colleges.
 

Any combination of education and/or experience that provides the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities will be considered. Preferred: computer or information science degree and experience with library technologies. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years’ experience in evaluating, developing, and maintaining complex information applications. Experience within an academic, library, museum, or archives environment is desirable.
