The Bush School is in search of an individual to join our Library/Instructional Technology Department to teach Lower School Technology. Experience in teaching technology to elementary ages and a Washington teaching certificate are recommended. A qualified candidate will be able to manage the key responsibilities and tasks as listed below:

Teach weekly classes to third-fifth grades

Cover productivity, typing, and basic computing;

Develop and deliver technology enrichment curricula;

Offer introductory programming and media production concepts;

Collaborate in K-5 classrooms to fulfill technology-related instructional goals;

Organize maker, media, programming, and robotics activities;

Help monitor stock of Lower School technology equipment;

Troubleshoot basic issues in Windows, Macintosh, iOS, and Chrome OS;

Explore new technologies to identify training and implementation needs;

Support teachers in integrating technologies into curriculum;

Attend library/instructional technology department meetings;

Attend LS division meetings and other staff meetings as appropriate;

Cover lunch, recess, and pickup duty as necessary;

Other duties as assigned by Director of Technology.
