Oversees and manages the organization, administration, periodic review, planning, development and general effectiveness of IT Guided Pathways.  Responsible for overall performance of IT Guided Pathways implementation including the alignment of academic and workforce programs and certificates.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS 

  • Oversees and manages the IT Guided Pathways utilizing the national best practices
  • Responsible for the implementation and effectiveness of Guided Pathways using the Completion by Design Framework that measures KPIs
  • Establishes metrics and dashboard for Guided Pathways that measure student interest, student enrollment (entry), progression, and completion

  • Manages and coordinates resources and partnerships within and across markets

  • Supervises, coaches, and assesses the performance of assigned staff

  • Coordinates the development and evolution of industry standard curriculum 

  • Develops and maintains effective communication with prospective applicants, current students, employers, and all funding partners 

  • Participates in advisory committee meetings representing the interest of the program 

  • Conducts marketing initiatives for the program to include recruitment, internships, industry partnering at the local and regional level

  • Provides input for assessment of curriculum, instruction, and student experience 

  • Performs other duties as assigned

 

 

Qualifications:

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

               

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE/TRAINING

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field

    • Significant related experience may substitute for education

  • Minimum of five years of demonstrated experience in an IT programming environment  

  • Demonstrated experience supervising, planning, assigning, scheduling and ensuring the quality of the work of others

  • Demonstrated experience effectively making decisions that have major implications on the management and operations within a department
