Job Description

Work with outstanding colleagues in leading the delivery of excellent information technology service to the University of Notre Dame Auxiliary Operations division. The Manager, IT Solutions oversees all aspects of technical solution delivery and support for the Auxiliary Operations division including 3rd party solution selection and implementation, system architecture design, hardware and software procurement, and custom software development. Effective collaboration and communication skills are essential to success in the role.

Position responsibilities

  • Leads a team of IT professionals in providing support to the entire Auxiliary Operations division; supporting the technology needs of Campus Dining, Morris Inn and Conference Center, Campus Card Office, Auxiliary Services and Saint Michael’s Laundry.
  • Serves as primary OIT contact for the Auxiliary Operations division; fosters strong working relationships with Auxiliary Operations and OIT colleagues
  • Mentors direct reports and fosters individual growth and professional development
  • Responsible for the implementation of IT standards and best practices within the team
  • Collaborates and supports OIT colleagues in the implementation of strategic IT initiatives
  • Consults with the Auxiliary Operations division on the overall implementation of technology in a way that furthers the overall goals & objectives of the division. Develops risk assessments and benefit analysis as needed.
Minimum Qualifications

7-10 years of experience in the IT industry, including extensive experience with technical solution delivery

Understanding and use of people management, project management, and customer relationship management principles

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Management or related field; Masters degree is beneficial
