Stuart Country Day School of the Sacred Heart, Princeton, New Jersey is an all girl independent Sacred Heart school for grades PS – 12. We are currently seeking a Middle School Technology Integrator / Math Teacher for the 2015- 2016 school year. The Middle School Technology Integrator is responsible for providing a stimulating and developmentally appropriate educational environment in a way that is in accordance with the Goals and Criteria of a Sacred Heart education and the philosophy that implements it. This philosophy includes providing children opportunities to develop spiritual, cognitive, social, emotional, and physical skills.

Candidates should have a degree in computer science / mathematics or technology education and preferably a master’s degree. Ability to teach a middle school science and a Algebra class is required. Minimum of 3-5 years middle school technology integration experience with a real passion for the middle school age group desired. Evidence of related passions and experiences and demonstrated success in creating programs such as robotics, coding, maker movement or interest in sharing programs in related areas with students, a plus.

Job Description: • Serve as a technology integrator for the Middle School; • Teach one section of 5th grade science (design engineering science), the 8th grade programming course and one section of Algebra 1. • Serve as an advisor to a group of Middle School students; • Organize and provide developmentally appropriate educational programs and instruction; plan and implement curriculum and differentiated instruction for Middle School students; • Provide activities and opportunities that encourage curiosity, exploration, problem-solving, and the use of technology appropriate to the developmental levels and learning styles of students; • Create a supportive and caring classroom environment in which students can learn and interact positively with one another; through student-centered instruction, collaboration and authentic assessment.
