Description
The International Christian School of Budapest assists primarily the families of the missionary community, and secondly, the families of the international and Hungarian community.  We are located in Diósd, Hungary, which is just outside the city of Budapest.  Currently, we have 250 students ranging in grades K-12 with 19 nationalities represented.  Additionally, we are accredited by the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) & Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools (MSA).  ICSB is a college preparatory institution with a US curriculum. The language of instruction is English.  We are very strongly committed to hiring only faculty members who have a strong Christian faith and a consistent relationship with Jesus Christ. An important part of the application to teach at ICSB is the articulation of your conversion to Christianity and your ongoing life of faith in Christ. We desire to hire teachers who will teach their subjects from a Biblical worldview and who will live as models of mature Christianity before our students.

We are a "mission school," in that we do not pay salaries to our teachers -- all of our teachers are here in Budapest as missionaries and have had to raise their own financial support through churches and individuals, etc.

We offer some assistance for teachers who come for two years or more. If you have school loans you are paying off, we contribute $2,400 per year to your loan agency, for every year that you are here (i.e., if you stay for 4 years, we pay $2,400 per year for all 4 years, etc.). If you don’t have school loans, we do offer a small stipend of $2,000 per year for every year that you are here.

Teachers embody the essences of ICSB. They shall be college graduates who demonstrate an ability to be used of God in the teaching profession. Their task is to serve God by teaching their academic content from a biblical worldview so that students learn and grow in knowledge, wisdom, maturity, and devotion to God.
