Summary
AIS welcomes applications from dedicated and enthusiastic professionals for the position of MYP Product Design Teacher (Design Tech Resistant Materials Specialist). This is a full-time position teaching MYP Product Design to students in grades 6 - 10, with the possibility of teaching IB DP Design Technology in the future.
 
Minimum Qualifications:
  • B.A. Degree in Education or other relevant degree
  • 5 years relevant teaching experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MYP Product Design or GCSE Design Tech Resistant Materials teaching experience and teaching certification
  • Experience with (IB) International Baccalaureate programs
The successful candidate needs to have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability and desire to work collaboratively with secondary school teachers, students, parents and staff.

Chemistry and Science Teacher

Applications are invited from dedicated and enthusiastic, professional educators for the position of IB Chemistry and Science teacher. This is a full time position with the successful candidate teaching Middle and High School students.

The ideal applicant will  have training in and the ability to teach the IB Chemistry and Science curriculum; an interdisciplinary focus while also integrating innovative learning strategies and working with a diverse student population.

It is expected that candidates for this position will meet the following requirements:

  • First degree in Chemistry and teaching certification
  • Minimum five years teaching experience
  • Be comfortable teaching the subject using an inquiry based, laboratory centered approach
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability and desire to work collaboratively with the school community including students, staff, and parents

IBMYP and IBDP teaching experience is preferred, but good applicants with other curriculum experience are also welcome to apply.
