Westminster School is seeking to add a qualified Information Technology professional to a busy Technology department. This position requires a broad set of skills in order to provide support to the entire school community and assist the department Director and Assistant Director in the day-to-day operation of the school. It is important that the qualified candidate have a philosophy of service, as well as substantive experience in and a demonstrated skill-set for Information Technology.


Qualified candidates will also possess the following skills:

  • Familiarity with networking and ability to troubleshoot WiFi and network issues; including but not limited to Internet routers, firewalls, network switches, network servers, wireless access points, and telecommunications cabling.

  • Familiarity with VMWare or related virtualization software.

  • Familiarity with Apple and Windows operating systems and software.

  • Maintain network services including but not limited to Active Directory, PaperCut Print Services, web services, backup solutions, virtualization, and VOIP solutions.

  • Familiarity with Google and Microsoft platforms and ability to perform desktop support.

  • Strong customer service skills and experience with remote support environments

The successful candidate will possess a Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Information Technology or a related field, and 5 years of experience working in a technology related position is preferred. This staff position is a full-time 12-month hourly opening with benefits.
