Our Network Manager will lead a team of network engineers to ensure that the district’s network infrastructure and service is always accessible, reliable, flexible, and secure to provide robust access to technology for the SFUSD community in order to meet the teaching, learning, and operational needs of the district. The Network Manager is responsible for leading the team’s focus on operational excellence, information security, technical innovation, and high-quality service aligned to SFUSD’s Service Standards.

Minimum qualifications:

  • A BA in a relevant field and five to seven years of relevant experience

  • Applicants with less than a BA may substitute an equivalent amount of additional, relevant experience

Relevant technologies and qualifications include:

  • Cisco CCIE, Cisco CCNP

  • Cisco ISR 4400, C2960, C3650, C3750

  • Ruckus Wireless

  • BGP, OSPF, EIGRP and multi-source internet access

  • Cisco Nexus, UCS, Juniper SRX, BigIP, core routing and switching

  • Experience working in Education and familiar with related regulatory environment, C.I.P.A, E-Rate, etc.

  • VoIP

The position also offers excellent development opportunities, benefits, and work-life balance. Compensation is $116,00-$158,000 annually, and offers employer-paid benefits (including health and pension eligibility) worth up to $50,000/year.
