This is a part-time hourly pool. Applications are collected for possible immediate or future college vacancies. This type of employment is temporary and often sporadic. Terms of Employment

  • Upon hire, must pass security inquiry which may include criminal and/or driving history; only information relevant to the position will be considered.

  • Requires flexible work schedule to meet program needs, which may include evenings and/or weekends. Continuation of this position is dependent upon the funding that supports all or a part of the position.

  • Upon hire, must successfully complete a physical agility fitness test.

  • Part-time hourly positions will not exceed 900 working hours per fiscal year

 Duties and Responsibilities:
Essential Functions:
  • Adheres to standards and procedures of operation as set forth by the college 

  • Assists in Network and Server support and installation

  • Assists with Networking and Domain Design

  • Assists with Network and server trouble shooting

  • Assists with Server and Networking Upgrades

  • Performs other related duties as assigned

 Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications: 
  • High School Diploma/GED

  • Basic Programming Knowledge

Core Competencies:

  • Knowledge of standard office procedures

  • Ability to work with constant interruptions and adapt to different situations

  • Ability to communicate with students and staff to convey technical information

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with team members

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Post high school training or related experience

  • Experience working with server operating systems such as Enterprise Linux and Windows Server.

  • Experience working with computer scripting languages.
