Dwight School is seeking a full-time Online Program Coordinator beginning immediately until June 2016, and can potentially continue for the 2016-2017 school year.   

 

The daily responsibilities of the Online Program Coordinator are to:

 

  • Oversee the online platform and work with online LMS provider to provide students a user-friendly online experience
  • Reviews courses for ensuring the quality of the online courses and revise and provide feedback and assistance as needed in collaboration with the online team
  • Help the Director develop the program and explore new online course offerings
  • Coordinate with College Counseling and Communications for strategic planning
  • Establish practices for course counseling current and prospective students
  • Maintain regular contact with parents about student progress
  • Provide academic and organizational support to students as needed
  • Course evaluation and reporting grades to students

 

The ideal candidate must meet the following qualifications:

 

  • Formal training in Technology, Educational Technology, Education but not required
  • Experience with teaching and working with students
  • Experience related to online learning and teaching, instructional technology, Learning Management Systems with preference given to canvas
  • Strong work ethic and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to contribute positively to the community with patience and humor
