Parker School seeks a part-time Information Technology Assistant to support the Technology Director with daily operation of the School’s network, servers, printers, databases, and other equipment.

Qualifications for this position include a high school diploma or equivalency.  A bachelor’s degree is preferred.

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills:  

  • Ability to
    • communicate effectively with constituents from the entire school community
    • define problems and implement appropriate solutions
    • demonstrate effective analytic, written, and oral communications skills
    • multitask and work under pressure
  • Demonstrated knowledge in managing hardware and software specific to the school.
  • STRONG knowledge and experience with:
    • PC/Apple hardware
    • Multiple Operating Systems. (Windows 7, 10, OSX)
    • Mobile devices (iOS, Android)
    • TCP/IP networking protocols
    • Server 2012 (Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, File and Storage Services, IIS, NAP, Printer Services, WDSWSUS)
    • Creating Cat5e/Cat6 cabling
    • Microsoft Office Suite 2007 and Office 365
