Job Description
NNM has a great opportunity for an experienced database pro to join our team!

The Registrar serves as the custodian of student information and records at NNM, performing tasks associated with the collection, maintenance, archiving, reporting and release of student record information. The Registrar will work in coordination with and provide support to Admissions and other departments and school constituents.

Some of the specific job functions include:

Work in coordination with Admissions, Academic Directors, and others to create and maintain accurate student records and files, both physical and electronic
Support the annual enrollment process including contract preparation, form collection and orientation scheduling
Coordinate scheduling of parent-teacher conferences
Assist with testing at various levels and times of year, coordinating material and information as needed
Prepare paperwork, folders, labels, lists, schedules and other documentation based on student and/or family information
Conduct analysis and prepare reports on student enrollment and data as requested by administration, other departments and for regulatory compliance
Review and send written communication to families as requested for new students, transfers, and more
Support marketing and communication efforts for NNM admission events (“Coffees”) for prospective families
Collect and compile student forms and data from families to maintain compliance with ISBE (Illinois State Board of Education) reporting and recordkeeping requirements
Support Elementary Director and learning support faculty by taking notes and updating records as needed in various meetings
Monitor deadlines for reporting, communication and events - send reminders on material needs or information to involved staff members to ensure effective preparation
Provide training and support to users of the database system, including parents, administration and faculty
Work with other departments to suggest improvements to processes and procedures related to student records management to implement/maintain best practices within the field
Serve as a back up to the front desk or office staff and assist with event/meeting set-up and clean-up as needed
Lead or support projects and additional tasks as requested or necessary

Qualifications
We are looking for candidates who:

are super organized and know how to input, manage and compile data
have a keen attention to detail
have great time management skills with the ability to effectively move projects along with various people involved
can demonstrate through previous experience, an ability to provide high levels of support to colleagues and respect for handling for sensitive information
Bachelor’s degree preferred, or similar type of learning experiences
Significant experience working with a database, or records systems
Demonstrated analytical skills; intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel and Word
Additional Information
This position will follow a school year schedule from mid-August to June. The typical daily schedule would be Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 4:30pm. It is full-time and benefit eligible. NNM offers a great benefits package with very competitive salaries.
