The Registrar Associate/Database Administrator supports both the Registrar Office and the Technology Department utilizing a myriad of IS systems, reporting metrics and facilitating the administrative maintenance of records. In addition, the position collaborates on a seasonal basis with the admissions team providing online coordination of events, forms and correspondence. The diverse role requires a strong independent work ethic as well as the ability to work in dynamic teams on a project-by-project basis. The position reports to the Registrar/Financial Aid Coordinator and provides support to the Admissions Team.

Primary Registrar Responsibilities:

Maintains and processes existing and new student records in the student information system.
Processes all information update forms for families as well as faculty/staff address updates from the Business Office.
Supports and covers Registrar/Financial Aid Coordinator with various duties including day-to-day operations.
Coordinates and processes annual online student re-enrollment.
Supports the Registrar Team with work permits, textbooks, transcripts and assigned reports.
Processes bank deposits for Business Office on a bi-weekly schedule.
Primary Database Responsibilities:

Responsible for EducationEdge configuration to support student information, scheduling, school year configuration, courses and sections, drop/adds, progress reports, grades and open gradebook, and end of year transitions.
Responsible for the creation of specialty reports from EducationEdge, including Back to School Night letters, Parent Conferences letters and any additional reports required.
Responsible for working jointly with RaisersEdge Database Manager in maintaining the on-going integration process with EducationEdge and RaisersEdge.
Creates date import/exports for all third party systems.
Responsible for online Admissions and Information Update processes.
Coordinates Blackbaud system updates with technology and all effected users.
Creates and maintains Blackbaud system users.
Primary Admissions Responsibilities:

Coordinates and processes all online Admissions forms including the Inquiry, Open House Registration, Application, and Online Decisions forms.
Generates Admissions decision notifications correspondence and creates email distribution lists.
Supports Admissions statistical reports.
BA/BS Degree in busines administration, educational administration, or in a related subject area.
Preferred – 3 years of direct experience in an independent school setting; proven record of successful integration into in a people-oriented environment; demonstrated understanding of the application of technology to deliver Registration and Database services.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Problem solving, analysis and judgment skills.
High proficiency in MS Office products, proficiency in databases, prefer Blackbaud, Education Edge, Raisers Edge, Crystal Reports.
