This position provides support for Technology Help Desk activities including phone-level and on-site Help Desk support for Water of Life Christian School staff and students on campus. Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Provide on-site staff/student support/training, as needed

  • Troubleshoot computer hardware and software issues

  • Support WOLCS staff in resolving application-related issues

  • Perform the installation of software and hardware, as needed

  • Assist the Technology Coordinator in the execution of his/her duties

Part time, 10 hours per week.

 

Qualifications

  • A Comp TIA A+ certificate desired

  • Experience using and supporting common microcomputer hardware, peripherals and a variety of software applications and operating systems for both PC and Mac (MS Office, Internet Explorer, MS Exchange/Outlook, other access products, etc.)

  • Fundamental knowledge of data retrieval

  • Ability to install and train staff on software products; diagnose and resolve obscure user problems; work effectively for long periods of time with minimal supervision; provide strong customer service

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; organizational and multi-tasking skills; analytical and problem-solving skills; attention to detail with an eye towards accuracy

  • Satisfactory "Live scan" fingerprint and child abuse index clearance by the DOJ

  • Physical Requirements

    • Regularly required to move above, reach, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl

    • Regularly carrying/lifting, pushing/pulling items weighing up to 60 pounds

  • Friendly, flexible, able to multitask, enjoys working with all people

  • Aspire to be a Christian role model in accordance with 1 Timothy, chapter 3

  • Maintain a consistent relationship with God, demonstrate a strong and growing walk with Christ, and live a Biblical lifestyle that honors Christ

  • Be personally committed to the ideals, values and mission of WOL

  • Participate in a WOL small group and be a regular tither to WOL

  • Ability to appropriately handle confidential information; refraining from gossip

  • Ability to resolve issues according to Matthew 18:15

  • Be/become a Member at WOL and regularly attend its weekend services
