Job Summary 

College of Lake County has an exciting opportunity for a customer focused User Services Technician. The ITS Group is dedicated to assure excellent delivery of products and services to the College in the following areas: User Services/Help Desk, Applications Services, Network Services.

The Senior IT Technician II provides all levels of technical support to users of computers and related computer equipment throughout the College. Support provided by the Senior IT Technician II shall include, but not be limited to, installing hardware and software; performing trouble-shooting, problem diagnosis, and repair of computers and related computer equipment.

Required Qualification 

An Associate’s degree in computer science or related field or an Associate’s degree with equivalent formal training, credit coursework or work related experience. Good organizational, communication and customer service skills. Previous in-depth experience with computers both hardware and software.

Desired Qualifications

Experience with Windows 10, Macintosh and Microsoft Office products. Ability to work independently and at least 3 years of related work experience.
