Job Summary

College of Lake County is seeking a Senior IT Technician III that will provide all levels of technical support to users of computers and related computer equipment throughout the College. Support provided by the Senior IT Technician III shall include, but not be limited to, advanced installation of hardware and software, performing advanced troubleshooting and diagnosis, running and maintaining of user-facing server applications, and special projects as assigned.

Required Qualification

1.An Associate’s degree in computer or related field or an Associate’s degree with equivalent formal training, credit coursework or work related experience.
2.Previous in-depth computer experience required including operating systems (Windows 7, Windows 10, and Macintosh) along with server systems and network technologies.
3.Five (5) years of related work experience along with project management from launch to completion preferred.
4.A high level of interpersonal and communication skills are required. 5.Must be able to multitask and be organized at all times.
6.Must be able to work independently.
