ollaborate with teachers, curriculum team, and the library media specialist to identify, promote, and create interdisciplinary and STEAM teaching and learning experiences for grades 6-12 across the curriculum. Integrate instructional strategies and multiple technologies that promote cooperative and project-based learning through an interdisciplinary and STEAM curriculum. This position will report to the Assistant Head of School and is part of the Goizueta STEAM Grant.

The ideal candidate should have excellent oral and written communication skills and be able to organize their work using electronic tools and office equipment.   • Participate in 6-12 curriculum development and advancing interdisciplinary connections
  • Provide appropriate training in STEAM and interdisciplinary teaching and learning
  • Integrate intentional technology into teacher training and help shape an integrated curriculum
  • Liaise with faculty to develop and further implement a shared interdisciplinary STEAM vision
  • Model design thinking and other innovation frameworks with students and faculty
  • Raise awareness of and communicate initiatives among all school constituents
  • Communicate responsibly with all students, parents, colleagues, stakeholders and school leadership
  • Identify necessary resources and shape a 3-5 year vision that will support and enhance academics
  • Follow professional ethics in all work-related activities
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Have at least five years’ experience in technology, engineering, science, computer science, arts, or related educational fields
  • Be a proven leader with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with teachers, students, parents, staff, and the AGS community
  • Advance the Atlanta Girls’ School mission, vision, and strategic plan; to support student learning and achievement through collaborative effort and research-based educational leadership, teaching, and learning; and support and advance STEAM and interdisciplinary work
