STEM Chair

Purnell School is seeking a Chair of the STEM Department for the 2016-2017 school year. The new Chair of the STEM Department at Purnell School reports directly to the Academic Dean and is responsible for academic and residential duties that may include, but are not limited to evaluation and planning of current and future courses within the department, observation and evaluation of department members, biweekly meetings with Department Chairs to oversee and evaluate Purnell’s academic program and student growth, and editing department’s quarterly reports. Responsibilities also include teaching classes from Algebra I to Pre-Calculus and/or Chemistry, Physics, and Science Electives and teaching technology courses and offering technology based clubs and activities.
