Reporting to the Director of Technology, this 12-month staff position will have a primary focus of supporting and maintaining our student information system, currently Veracross along with any other related databases.  The main responsibilities are the daily upkeep of the data systems to ensure campus workflow requirements are met.  

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Administrative contact with Veracross 

  • Responsible for managing Veracross Faculty, Student, Parent, and Future Family portals

  • Assist with day-to-day maintenance of Veracross and other related systems.

    • Work with Admissions Office (provide support for the admission cycle - data integrity, SSAT integration, online enrollment, online re-enrollment, financial aid, Composer emails)

    • Work with Studies Office (report cards, transcripts, comments, block calendar, course requests, scheduling)

    • Work with Health Center (visits, medication tracking, Magnus integration)

    • Work with Athletic Department (rosters, resource module, schedules, registration)

    • Work with Business Office (VC Pay, Student Billing)

    • Integration with other existing systems (Odin, Financial Edge, Raiser's Edge, Magnus, Reach Boarding, PowerSchool)

    • Responsible for the routine maintenance in Veracross (user accounts, close and start of school year, data import/exports)

  • Provide training to end users 

  • Create and maintain knowledge base for constituent group (Faculty, Staff, Students, Parents, etc)

  • Participate as a member of the help desk team

  • Work with other team members to resolve issues that fall under scope of duties

 

  • Bachelor's degree in IT-related field.  Relevant experience may substitute for the degree requirement on a year-for-year basis.

  • Experience working with high school age students.

  • Ability to maintain a positive, patient, and empathetic manner in interactions with end users.

  • Strong project management and organizational skills.

  • Ability to communicate in both non-technical terms and in technical detail, depending on the audience.

  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.

  • Ability to communicate instructions to users concisely and clearly (both orally and in writing).

  • Flexibility and adaptability; willingness to learn new skills and juggle multiple roles.
